Creating guidlines on the specific scope and rules around use of social media to enhance your business, non-profit, or church are extremely important to ensure consistancy in messaging and branding.

    Great post, Chris. I think the idea of having a social media policy makes sense for any organization, church or secular, because it makes the policymakers look at and hopefully understand what social media is and how it may apply appropriately and where it may cross a boundary. That makes sense for church leaders as well as organizational leaders, it seems to me.
