Oreo Snack Hack – online only consumer engagement

Really interesting article on how Oreo is encouraging popular chefs to “hack” Oreo’s and encourage consumers to post about their inventions with their product on twitter at #OreoSnackHack.

As I reflect upon what we’ve studied in class – it seems like a smart way to connect to consumers without appearing overly ‘commercial’, especially by keeping it web only, with no “marketing” of it, and the idea has taken off quickly with the Oreo fan base!
