How AT&T Prepared for Anticipated Social Media Onslaught


This past weekend, the Final Four took over Arlington, Texas and AT&T was ready for the social media frenzy that was about to take place. AT&T began making improvements to their stadium back in 2011 by adding new cell sites, increased wireless capacity and broadband network connections. At the Cowboys Thanksgiving Day games last year, nearly 19,000 fans were connected simultaneously, with more than 32,000 connected overall. Being that the Final Four is an event that draws in the messes, they were determined to get more improvements added to make sure the fans were able to tweet and post without any issues.
